Hey everyone!
I just went back to my Derm. and got another
prescription for Benzac wash. I had used it before with
minocin and it worked great. I’ve been off minocin for a
year and a half now and the only thing I get now are
small zits that drive me crazy! LOL! The face wash is
great for me because it makes my skin very
smooth-looking and smooth-feeling. It takes away any blackheads
I may have, even those really small ones on my
nose. My face ends up looking like I was born with this
skin. The problem I have is dealing with big pores.
With this wash, it minimizes the pores and makes my
face look softer. I’m lucky I don’t have any scars
because I used to pick at my face all the time, but I’m
telling you, with this wash, there’s nothing left for me
to pick. I wish I could post a pic but I don’t have
a scanner or a camera. I did, however, have a
friend scan my pic before she moved and I have one in my
mail if you guys wanna see the results. Bryan, I think
I remember you saying Benzac made your facial skin
thin. Did it irritate you extremely? I also use a
prescription lotion called Klaratin to combat the dryness
Benzac may cause and together they both work great. My
Derm. also gives me nitro treatment which freezes any
zits you already have and freezes the zits under the
skin that would rear later. These treatments are
expensive without insurance and I might not be able to
afford them otherwise but you can’t put a price on
self-confidence. Has anyone else had the nitro treatments and if
so, how did they work for you?
