Hey I have been using Neosporin for a day now and
I can see a little bit of a difference with the
redness in my face. It faded away a litle bit. I am going
to use it for a little while longer and see if it
gets even better. =)
It is. But Dermatologist’s always seem Pessimistic, if not to raise false hopes
and destroy esteem!
to heymikey018, considering your 18 i wouldn’t
worry about it. it’s perfectly "normal" to have acne as
a teenager. look around the highschool campus, mild
acne is a blessing as a teenager. a friend of mine had
really bad acne as a teenager. once he reached his 20’s
the acne completly stopped. he does have some
scars…cause he picked at his zits in the past…but he has
zero zits now. i started with mild acne and still have
it at <br>age 25. sometimes i go threw times with
zero zits….i love those days. keep your head up and
remember MOST people "grow" out of zits with

My dermatologist says acne can plague people up until they’re 50. He says I
might have to continue fighting it for another 20 some years. Depressing huh?
I’m not sure but it would seem logical that when
you have a new layer of skin (which happens on a body
basis about 7 years) it would clear up. Unless it is
still active, so about 7 years from when it stops, I
would think.
I was just wondering, what’s the average age of a person with mild to moderate
acne where his skin begins to clear up? Will acne clear up or do I have to live
with it for the rest of my life?
Just the other day I was putting neosporin on my
cut that I got from laying teniss and I looked at it
for a second and thought about using it for my acne
and then I said never mind because I didn’t want to
make it worse. But now that you guys are saying that
it works i’ll try it out. Thanks! =)

yeah, I also found the answer to my own question.
It sometimes takes months for the med to start
working and to kill the bacteria. Hey I also read that
your body doesn’t "over" produce oils when you take a
Zinc supplement. Maybe I will try that.
