i’ll try it! the ice probably reduces any swelling <br>caused by acne, so i
don’t see why it wouldn’t work. i read about ice treatments before.<br>bryan

I mentioned it before but my ice treatment is
working brilliantly. I strongly suggest that you try
it.<br>Just get a couple of ice cubes and rub them over your
face until the ice is pretty much melted and don’t dry
it off. Your face should look red, but that goes
away in a couple of minutes, and so far (after 2
weeks), I’m delighted with the results!

Thanks wrapped in shadows about the warning. I
was going to try them this weekend after getting my
hair highlighted but I decided against it lol. Those
moisturizers sound like a good idea, thanks Karyn. I need
something lighter than foundation but something that will
make my skin color appear even. With tanning and being
outside playing sports or hiking(and getting some natural
sun), my skin seems to be a hair lighter in some places
and darker in others. Also, I wanted to recommend
Neutrogena all-over body wash. It may not work that well if
you have severe or stubborn acne. It is great for the
summertime when you sweat. It also has a very nice citris
smell to it.

Sorry to hear about your hives– hope they get
better soon!! But about makeup– I have never been one
to pile on the makeup when I break out. Like my derm
always says: acne is still acne even with 7 layers of
foundation. I agree, and I have stopped using concealer,
powder, etc. What I do use, though, is a tinted
moisturizer. They’re great. I love them because one tube can
take you from winter to summer (no summer color and
winter color), there’s never any color matching, it
feels wonderful, and its a great lightweight
moisturizer. I’ve used two so far: Trucco Tinted Moisturizer
(from Sebastian) and I just bought Cover Girl Smoothers
Tinted Moisturizer. If you still want to use foundation
though, these tinted moisturizers are great for a hot
summer day as a foundation substitute. Two of my fave

i was at college taking a reading assesment test
and i looked up to see a girl about 10 feet in front
of me. i could only see one side of her face (she
was sitting sideways). she was so beautiful (i know
i’m married …i shouldn’t have been staring right.)
anyways i looked longer. she turned to face me and i saw
something that was interesting. she had a two sided face.
one side of her face was covered with the most
perfect skin. the other side was covered by 4 zits. most
of them the big cystic type. i still thought she was
drop dead gorgous…it was just weird to see….i
wonder if she sleeps on that side of her body<br>bryan

i feel the SAME WAY!!!! i think we all need to
vent every now and then. i have asked "why me?" about
a million times. a very religous friend of mine
told me that birth marks, acne etc…are given to us
to humble us. now i don’t know about this. it’s one
thing to humble someone…it’s another thing to drive
someone to suicide from low self esteem. acne has the
power to totally ruin any hope of self-esteem…if we
let it. depression, anger and social withdrawl…that
sounds like me…when i break out. i had one breakout in
march that was so bad i nearly quit my job…because i
didn’t want my co-workers/ freinds<br>to see me like
that. i’ve also missed days of work over acne…i’ll
just call in sick and hope the zits are gone fast.

do you guys ever wonder why we are suffering from
acne? Is there a purpose it is serving in our lives? Is
it here to try and teach us something? Have any of
you learned anything from it? I believe that
everything happens for a reason. But for some reason I
cannot figure out what purpose this acne serves in my
life. It is the one thing I just cannot get over and
live with. It affects every single aspect of my life
and has created who I am now. I think about what I
would be like if I had beautiful clear skin…I would
be so different. I am a pretty girl, when I have
makeup on I get noticed. But God forbid anyone was to
see me without my makeup they’d probably run the
other direction. I am praying for the day when I can
walk out of the house with a tiny bit of lipgloss and
