language. this is a board about acne, come on lets be
mature. at least maybe i am in wrong wrong. anyone else

I’ve been on minocycline for probably over a year. I don’t break out as much as
I used to but I still get cystic pimples. Maybe it will work for you though.

I felt the same way you did. I was shocked when
my doc recommended Accutane for me, so was my
mother, because if you look at the brochure, the people
in the pictures look almost disfigured. Since I’m
not 18, my mom had to talk to Dr. D. about the
Accutane. She didn’t have a problem with it, but she said
"the people in the pamphlet have such horrible acne,
and Karyn’s face doesn’t look nearly that bad". Dr. D
said that since there are so many new products and
treatments (like Accutane) on the market now (as to when
Roche made this pamphlet), the chances of seeing
someone with such severe acne like that NOW is rare.
Accutane is now being used, he said, for people whose acne
is persistent. I think that if you are going to be
responsible while you’re on the Accutane, there’s no reason

hello everyone!! well i finally did it!! i had my
appointment to talk to my doc about my acne. i cant beleive
it though, the first thing he suggested was accutane
and i saw him during one of my "good face" days too.
he took one glance at my face and asked if i was
sexually active or plan to be within the next 6 months
because he wanted to put me on accutane. i mean, i have
considered accutane a lot and i havent exactly scratched it
off my options list yet, but i thought accutane would
be too strong for my type of acne. yes, i have
stubborn acne(mild-moderate),some cystic, but i thought
accutane was mostly for ppl who have tried EVERYTHING or
ppl with severe cystic acne. he then asked me if i
knew about accutane and if i have considered it. i
told him yes, but i wanted to try some other

a scar is something on your skin that will be
there forever. most times we pop a zit we are <br>left
with a red mark that fades in a few months. however,
if you pick at zits or scabes….this can led to a
scar. luckily there are things we can do these days to
remove the scars. laser surgery, chemical peelings
etc..<br>bryan

what exactly is an acne scar? i hear about this
all the time but i’m not quite sure what they look
like. i pop my pimples sometimes and have since i was
12 (i’m 15 now) and have never noticed any scars,
just red marks that go away after a while.

ha ha ha !!!!!!!! no there is no scentific proof that masterbation causes acne.
if it did, then sex would cause acne….and there would be a lot of people with
zits.<br>bryan
