Help please
yipes. this does not sound pleasant. - ok- help me to understand
better… because i am getting the feeling this sounds an awful lot like
a plantars wart of some kind… (which is not very likely on the face or
neck or chest) or ( and i dont mean to alarm you) it sounds like a form
of skin melanoma or basal cell carcinoma….
Skin cancer can look many different ways. The most common sign of skin
cancer is a change on the skin, such as a growth or a sore that won’t
heal. Sometime there may be a small lump. This lump can be smooth, flat,
flesh colored, shiny and waxy looking, or it can be red or reddish
brown. Skin cancer may also appear as a flat red spot that is rough or
scaly. Not ail changes in your skin are cancer, but you should see your
doctor if you notice changes in your skin.
can you tell me this… have you tried to squeeze or pick these bumps? i
know you pick them off…. ( try not to throw up here.. this is going to
get gross but i need to know to get a better understanding of what we
are looking at.) did anything come out when you tried to squeeze or pick
at the bumps? or was it just like you lifted off the flat dry skin and
there was a stringy hardish tail attached to it? ( i think i am going to
barf right now) lol… i think you should seriously seriously seriously
look into getting some blood work done… or start researching your
symptoms on the internet and let me see what i can find out for you…
there are a couple of things we need to look at:
1.) they appear on your face neck and chest… which is where most skin
cancers start… because of sun exposure to these areas… (do they
bleed? or no? i know most skin cancers look like moles and people think
they need to look for dark colored moles.. but they also appear as FLESH
colored raised scars… so this is something to look into.
2.) have you had any serious sun burns? are you over 18? have you had at
least 3 blistering sun burns before the age of 18?
3.) do they itch? do they bleed when you pick them off?
help! answer these questions.. and lets try to figure out whats going on
dont get panicky.
