Intro
Hi Everyone…. I am new to the group and wanted to post a quick
intro! My name is Anna & have had acne since I was a teen (I am
24 now)…. I am tired of this acne! In HS it wasn’t so bad….
just
your typical teenage acne…. Then after HS it got really bad, so I
finally saw a Dermatologist. It started to clear up really well on
just topicals (I can’t take oral antibiotics for long periods of
time).
Then I went on Ortho-Tricylene…. that cleared my skin up 100%!
Then I went off of it and my acne came back worse than ever…
now it is cyst-like and is causing scars. I am still using
Cleocin-T, Akne-mycin, and bactroban. I used to be on Azylex…
but my prescription ran out & I don’t have the funds to go back to
my Dr. 
Now I have a couple of questions…. What other topicals could I
try? Any of you know of an oral med that is safe for the liver (I
have abnormal liver function tests) & for nursing mothers? TIA!
