Greatest Acne Tip!
I never had acne until I got into my mid twenties. I am now 30 with a severe
case of cystic acne. I have tried just about every antibiotic and topical
applications. None of them have really worked. I have been dreading the moment I
was going to have no other alternative than to get on Accutane. I have found
something that has worked at last! Have you seen the info on the acne light?
Well I wanted to try it but I thought the investment was way too much for
something I didn’t know if it would work for me. There is this laser treatment
place here in Tucson, AZ that treats pain and scar tissue with lasers. They had
a free 10 minute session so I took it. I had the treatment on Tuesday and my
face is finally clearing up!!! :O It’s based on the concept that light has
various penetrations of the skin depening on nm (nanometers). The FDA has
approved the Clearskin system which provides the blue light (415nm) and the red
light (620nm to treat cyctic acne. It can go deep into the skin to kill the
bacteria without any drying creams or life threating treatments. I tried it for
15 minutes at 620-680nm and it didn’t hurt at all! It just gives you a prickly
feeling. I didn’t think it was going to work, but my whole family have been
asking what I have been using because my face is clearing up! I’m going tomorrow
to get another treatment. It’s the only thing so far that gives fast and
effective results!
Just my $0.02! ![]()

Good Question,
What is the cost of something like this? Is this procedure done in your
dermatologist’s office or somewhere else. One other thing…..are there
any side effects/bad/horror stories about this procedure? Inquiring
Minds….Want To Know???
Thanks,
Angie

It’s only available in certain areas. In the practice I’m going to they actually
have a biomedical engineer! It cost about $55 for 30 minutes or $80 for an hour.
It has made such a big improvement, even my kids notice!! I have no open lesions
or pustules on my face now. My chin was full of them last Monday! I had one
treatment last Tuesday and one today. I have included some links so you can do
some research of your own. Also you can "google" or use MSN and search on the
following words along with the metropolitan area you live closest to. ex. LLLT
low level laser therapy

As far as I know there are no side effects. The level of the laser is so low
I also use Bare Escentuals for make
that the FDA doesn’t regulate them because of the minimal risk involved. The
cost is comparable to buying all the acne medicines, Proactive and co-pay for
doctor visits. It doesn’t cost that much if you really look into it. I have
spent $30 so far. The first consultation was free and I went today for 15
minutes. It had an immediate effect on me and I do not have any regrets on
spending my money on the treatment. I can go out in public now and not have
someone talk to me while staring at my chin. What really irritated me was when
they would touch their chin all the time like if was them who had the acne on
their face. It doesn’t happen anymore!!!
up. It’s a powered mineral foundation. It’s all powder and you brush it on your
face. It covers better than foundation, it’s not greasy and has a natural 15
SPF.
I have had this acne so long, I have tried just about everything except
Accutane. This works, it doesn’t hurt and it’s safe. I’m sold!

Good Morning Angelica,
Thank you soooo much for all of your information. I will look into some
of the other sites that you recommended for the research.
This is the best site since I began searching for a cure for my Acne. I
just started getting acne in my early thirties and now, in May, I’ll be
40 years old and there is nothing worse than having acne then and really
at anytime in our lives be it male or female, because you feel like that
is all people see when you are talking to them. When in reality, that’s
the first thing we all look at is the person’s face, then BAM! You
immediately start to feel insecure about yourself and etc….Thanks
again, and nice meeting you. I am Angie in Maryland.
Thanks Group!
