The Mary Kay Issue
I can see that we are having problems on the Mary Kay issue. Is it
ok to post about Mary Kay and so forth.
1. It is ok to post about Mary Kay as long as you’re not trying to
push your product on people. This group is for people trying to get
help NOT for people trying to sell their products. There are other
groups out there that will welcome the ads but not here.
2. On the issue of a member being emailed by a Mary Kay seller
about her products. That was totally out of line, and is not
excepted here whatsoever! That was blatantly spamming and isn’t
tolerated. Once again it brings me back to the point of this group
being for the people trying to get help NOT for people trying to
sell their products.
If you want to post about Mary Kay products that is fine as long as
you are genuinely trying to help someone. But keep in mind there’s
a thin line between pushing your product and trying to help.

Thank you, Mandy - that is what I was trying to communicate. I’m a true-blue
Mary Kay fan. Like any line, I select what I love and use it and go
elsewhere for other items that work better for me.
I want you and the other list members to know that it was the spamming that
was so offensive, not at all the professional description of the product and
what it does. Had Ivana posted the same message as a group post, I’d
probably have ignored it.
