More new products I’ve tried…
Heyyy guys… Well the products that I purchased from reflect.com
turned out to not really help… but not really hurt. The
customization was cool, I’d do it again, but perhaps create some
product besides skin care. I would say "to each their own" for these
products.
My latest find which I have been VERY pleased with is the *enzyme
cleansing gel* & *drying cream* from www.mariobadescu.com
I’ve got the cleansing gel here… the ingredients are deionized
water, glycerin, papaya extract, grapefruit extract, monomide,
triethanolamine, and methlparaben. It seems to be a very mild yet
effective cleanser without drying. The drying CREAM is just
awesome… The best thing I’ve used since a perscription in quite
awhile. Their Drying LOTION seems to be their most popular product,
however I believe the main ingredient is sasylic (sp?) acid which I
tend to have a reaction to. If anyone in here uses/used it I’d be
interested to know what you thought!
Katie (the skin care guru :)) do you have any info on these
ingredients (in the enzyme cleansing gel)?
Thanks!

Hi all, I’m back with an answer … I submitted the following question to the
CosmeticInfo group, a group of wonderful chemists who do understand this
stuff …
<I was asked what I thought of a product that I’d not heard of. I went to
their website and they offered no ingredients online. The person asking
supplied
this list of ingredients from the bottle … it’s supposed to be a non-drying
cleansing gel: deionized water, glycerin, papaya extract, grapefruit
extract, monomide, triethanolamine, and methlparaben … I do not recognize this
listing, specifically monomide and triethanolamine … assuming the methlparaben
(sp?) is preservative … can someone help?>
This is the answer I received from one of the most respected chemists …
Sorry the answer wasn’t a raving review, but I do trust Maurice’s advice.
I’m glad it’s working for you, but was not impressed with the company for its
upscale marketing and pricing with this type of questionability.
