All Birth Control Pills Clear Up Acne…

Friday, December 24th, 2004

I am not sure that all birth control clears up acne. Ortho Tricyclen
can make that claim because it actually does work and it has been
proven to work.

If you read the tiny information packets that come with your pill
you will see that one of the side effects may be acne.

My doctor told me that every pill has different effects. Not all
work the same. Now, I have used Zovia, my doc said that it would
help me, but it didn’t. I have used Ortho Novum 777, broke me out
very bad and made me sick, not to mention I spotted all through the
month. I was given ortho by another doc who told me that it would
help my skin…and it did.

I will tell you what your doctor will tell you! Exactly what they

Oily skin & large pores

Wednesday, December 15th, 2004

I’m sure these topics have been covered many times before (I did
actually do a search through the archive)but I figured since I’m new
here, I’d ask about them again. I’m 30 years old and male, and I
have very oily skin and large pores. The obvious question is, what
can I do about it? I’ve tried many different products, but it seems
that in many cases, as the product tries to dry out my skin, an hour
later it is oilier than before. Somebody recently told me to take
lechithin and flax oil, but so far that does not seem to be doing the
trick. I have also read that by cutting down on carbohydrates, this
may help. Anyway, are there any suggestions for a basic cleansing
ritual that can help me with these problems? I’m getting sick of
buying product after product and being disappointed that my face
never seems to get any less slick.

aloe cleanser I highly, highly, highly recommend to you all

Hi, I usually just lurk on here but would like to post something now for the
group to benefit from.

I have a favorite skincare product. Actually, there’s a few but I don’t have
time to cover them all.

But I am not selling anything! I just have suffered like you guys for years
and years and years and after that many years, you find a few things that
work and a lot of things which don’t. I want people to know what helped me in
case it helps you. I don’t care if you buy this stuff or not. In fact,
maybe it won’t work for you, I don’t know. I’ve been toying with the idea
of figuring out how to make beauty products lately, so maybe I will even try
to make a home-version sometime, I don’t know…….

If it helps anyone to know if my skintype is like theirs, I am an adult woman

Soaps and cleansers

When trying new soap, how long does it take the face to adjust to the
new soap? Whenever I try a new soap, it makes my skin especially the
facial area very dry.

ZenMed

I have heard about ZenMed, and am wondering if anyone has acutally
tried it and if it works. I know that it’s a bit expensive, but
nothing else works for me.
