Acne Tips

Hi,
I live in Montana and I always have problems with acne. My mom got
me a bottle of Witch Hazel astringint.

Hi!

I am a 23-year old boy and I have been suffering from severe acne for the past 6
years. I have consulted a number of specialists but it has shown no sign of
relief. Nowadays, I am using an ointment called ‘Airol’. I dont know when it
would show some results but I am disappointed to see a couple more white colored
small dots (pimples?) on my face everyday I look in the mirror. This has been
happening for a lot of time and I dont know how to cure them. Ofcourse this is
happening before I started Airol. I also try to wash my face with Neutrogena
soap once daily.

However, I have a specific question. A few weeks back, a real large swelling
(basically a large pimple) found itself near my chin. After being there, it sort
of fizzled out but took the skin with it which covered the size of the pimple.
Now, the problem that has occured is that the piece of skin that was lost doesnt

Hi all.

Does anyone else have the annoying issue of getting small bumps (red
ones at that) acoss their face everytime they sweat, or is it only
me? I do not really consider it acne, but it may very well be.

I’m really annoyed because now I only seem to break out during the
summer months (May - August).

I also had a heat rash ( I believe) across my upper chest, which for
the most part has gone away, but there are a few small bumps that
just will not go away.

Any advice for me? Curse those with no skin probelms, too

Does anyone experience a breakout during long periods of humidity? I
havent had a pimple in what seems like a year, but the past few weeks
my face has broken out really bad. The only thing I can think of is
from the humidity we have been having. Please let me know. Thanks all.

I’m not sure what witch hazel is, or how exactly your esthetician uses it, but
I have a hunch
here. If I’m totally wrong, disregard this post. I wax my eyebrows, and my
esthetician used Tend
Skin after she was done to soothe the skin. I was constantly breaking out
around my eyebrows
after waxing, so my derm suggested she stop using the Tend Skin. She did, and I
haven’t broken
out from waxing since. Maybe the witch hazel is used as a soothing agent after
electrolysis, and
it’s causing your breakouts. Try skipping it next time, and see what happens…
it can’t hurt to
try.

if thats how u spell it? my skin just has to many patches and black
heads and my pores are blah! i dont get zits though but i wanna see

have been turned bigger and full of infection. I have had progestron and
testosterone and TSH test recently. The result was good. (TSH(EIA) = 0.4,
Testosterone(RIA) = 0.3, 17OH-Prog(RIA) = 0.9 all in normal range). But my
doctor prescribe "Spironolactone 50mg" pills two times a day (every 12
hours). I don’t know really what is this chemical material and whether it is
Horrmonal or not and if it has any side effect.

As an explanation, I have had Antibiotical treatment for about 1.5 years
(Erithromycine + Ethanol Alcohol 70+ one thing else that used to clean my
skin). But I have put it aside for about 2 months. My skin is mixed so if i

I have heard about a new laser proceedure called Smoothbeam and only a few
drs. have it right now. I have been wanting to try it because it is supposed to
do wonders for acne and evening out scarring. Anyone tried it? Anyone in San
Diego area who knows where to go?
I have tried Clearlight recently. It is like a tanning bed for the face and
emits safe rays only. It was pretty effective, but the doctor said it works
best for those with severe acne and mine is only moderate. So I would recommend
it for anyone who has severe acne. It was $340 for 8 15 minute treatments.

to extend by deepest appreciation…and thankfullness to the
moderators and administrators of this group..

i would like to know or give me a tip on how to prevent this acne
that i have in my face…actually they are too many now….and my
face looks like the moon…like having too many craters on it…

pls will anyone help me…

and i also have this problem about big pimples that eventually lead
to infection…

that makes my face looks like swollen…
