		<description>&#62; tell me your theory and the reason behind it.
&#62;
As mentioned in the previous answer, many articles are in the archives ...
this is not a theory in the mental sense, I've washed with my oats mix for over
2 years, both for just my face (at the sink) and in the bath. Aveeno baths
are clumpy and messy, where mine absorbs the bathwater well.

		<description>&#62; how can oats help?
&#62;
Ground oats are nature's perfect cleanser IMO ... removing excess oils
without stripping, retaining water, softening, and exfoliating ... great for all
skins and non-irritating. Search the archives posts about this.

		<description>Katie,

On the subject of oats - are you talking eating them or using them
topically?!
Let me go on record as saying I hate oatmeal.
And Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath for itching but I have to admit I
have found lavender bath salts more enjoyable.
Okey, to be serious, tell me your theory and the reason behind it.

		<description>how can oats help?

*********** REPLY SEPARATOR ***********

&#62; It sounds like if your skin is sensitive to topical products or already
&#62; irritated, that this may &#34;ancient formula&#34; be too harsh for it.

Katrina, I'm too sensitive &#34;all over&#34; LOL ...

That is why I'm an &#34;oats&#34; preacher - it does the job and doesn't irritate

		<description>&#62; made from sea shells and lemon ... it sure feels different than any other
&#62; skin cream

Lemon provides a very acidic AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) ... which by itself too
strong (not good). Depending upon the strength in which it's incorporated
into the product, it can be a good thing for some. Sea shells are most likely
finely ground to provide a &#34;pumice&#34; effect that scrubs off dead skin.
