Does the peel cause hurt?
Hi! Well, my name is Danika adn I joined this group because I have
just finished a 12 month course in Beauty Therapy (it was a long 12
motnhs, lol). And well, I am offering help to anyone that needs it,
and i may need a little bit of help myself, lol. So, this is just a
general hi to everyone….hope to talk to you all soon,
Danika
hey folks,
the Washington Post put an ad in the paper about our support group meeting
without me asking them to- they do this sometimes whenever they need filler i
guess- anyhoo- have 12 people RSVPing for a table for 8, so we may have to move
downstairs to the bar or God forbid sit outside somewhere IN BROAD DAYLIGHT??
-we’ll see how many actually show up- we have 4 new people who may get cold
feet(how do i know?-cuz i’m the group leader and *i* still get cold feet about
these meetings- something gut wrenching about this topic!)
flyer is attached with details if anyone needs-see ya Sunday!
you can still RSVP if you haven’t–the more the merrier- but we may have to
be mobile- so wear your running shoes;-)

Isake,
Thank you for responding. I think I’ll check your web site to see
what more there is to learn.

Hi Katrina
No the redness/ irritation you have now is not not going to be permanent. It
should go down in about a week. I formulated a pure copper peptide serum that my
clients use to accelerate the healing and have them alternate it with a product
called "Catrix". Catrix is a balm with shark cartilage that somehow triggers
re-epithilization- new growth of the skin layer that was removed by the peel.
Liquid (serum) copper peptides are used for emergency healing such as skin
grafting and hair transplant procedures.
Hope this helps

Thanks, Heather - truly a wealth of specific information!
I doubt I’ll be having those things done … and can certainly empathize with
such a decision.

Katie,
The blueberry jessner peel is considered to be a mild to moderate
facial peel.

CHEMICAL PEELS
Having acid applied to your face probably doesn’t sound like
something you’d want done, but it is the foundation of a very
popular cosmetic procedure known as the chemical peel. Chemical
peels can give your skin a healthy, "just refreshed" look, or can be
aggressive, taking years off of your appearance. Just like other
cosmetic procedures, there is a wide range of varying chemicals used

Katie,
In an earlier post "janiedayne" mentioned she had a blueberry
jessner peel done. I’m not too familar with it but she can probably
explain it better.

Can you recommend anything that improves facial redness.
Katrina
Hi Angie,
Talk about redness…I looked like a burn victim for several days!
No kidding. I was not allowed to be exposed to sun, which was
also difficult.
I had to take a week off from work to do this. I have heard of
people who just go to work looking bad. The peel doesn’t hurt,
except during the initial application, which takes about 10
minutes. The hardest part for me was to keep from picking at it.
This peel is like having a bad sunburn, without the pain. So there
was alot of peeling opportunity, which I found quite fascinating
and hard to resist. I had been told "don’t pick, or you will get
scars." Well, I did pick, but by the grace of God, and by keeping
my face gooped up with Vitamin E Oil, I seem to have come out
