98.8% … it’s supposed to "tighten" as well as hydrate, as it has natural
astringent qualities that are non-drying, yet don’t contribute to oily
conditions. For dry skins, something occlusive is recommended (oils either
straight or
in-product like facial moisturizers).

When I used to work in an office I would keep water next to me all
day. That way I didn’t get a tummy ache from drinking all that water
at once. My goal was to drink it all before 1 hour before I left
because I had a 45 minute commute and then had to sit outside my
kids school waiting for them. Not a great place to be when that
water hits bottom.

Thank you so much for posting that. I also copied it and sent it to
my sister I have long believed that drinking water would benefit in
many ways. Now I have a study to back me up.

My sister has tried this and it hasn’t worked at all for her.

I don’t usually notice, but occasionally my husband complains about
my back breaking out. I always thought it had to do with my
extremely thick hair, but maybe it is something internal as you
suggested. It does seem to correspond to facial breakouts, but not
always.
I also agree with you about not using drugs to do what you can
accomplish with natural remedies. I don’t like to do put anything in
my body unless I have to. Even when I have a migraine I don’t
automatically reach for something. I try to wait until I absolutely
have to take something before it turns into a full blown migraine.

I buy the aloe juice from walmart - it’s a brownish / clearish liquid with
about .2% preservatives, and needs to be refrigerated after opening. This is
strictly a preference for me, more convenient than trying to grow the plants.

Sorry I did’nt explain the reference to p.c.o.s. in the first post, but just
cause you have acne/oily skin does not mean you have it. This is a syndrome only
females can have, so guys don’t worry about it! Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome is a
condition that can cause acne, over oily skin/hair, plus insulin imbalance and
hormone imbalance. Women get too much Testosterone which gives the acne and
greasy skin, but you would also see hair growing on the face or body- not so if
you just have acne! it causes easier weight gain and high blood pressure, high
blood fat levels, and diabetes or a insulin resistance. You probably will see
other problems besides acne, if you have p.c.o.s. so most of you will not have
it. If you have symptoms like your hormones are out of whack, tell your doctor
to screen you for pcos with blood work and an exam- but if you have had these
symptoms a long time the doctor most likely would have had you tested. Acne has
no One cause so it’s good to see a doctor if your just now getting a problem
with it! for those dealing with it most of their life, there hopefully will be
new treatments for it since so many technologies like laser/light devices are
(more…)
