Acne Tips

I was looking into buying a alpha hydroxy cleasner. Which one would
be best and where could I find it?

When I logged onto messages it says:

Invalid list acnetips

Anyone else get this same message?

Hi I have to tell you people stop looking at the outside of your skin
as the problem for your Acne. It doesnt matter WHAT you put on the
outside you will not cure your acne.

Trust me people, everyone knows the cycle, you know you have tried
every medicine and every drug but your Acne has remained if not come
back ten times worse hasn’t it? And you always seem to have acne
regardless of all those lotions and creams you put on your face
too…..been there done that!

If your choice at the end of the day but I tell you now you wont find
the cure for your Acne anywhere else especially not drugs doctor’s
oh so commonly prescribe without thinking of the long term health of
the individual….no no no…..this is all natural and it makes
sense. I gurantee you after about 1 or 2 weeks of this you will

Hi all, I’m new here and I just want to first off say it feels a
little liberating to know that there are other people out there that
want at least decent-looking skin. Okay I’m going to start with my
acne saga.
I am a 21 yr old female, and I have been suffering from acne from the
age of 12 yrs old. I guess it was b/c my mother had bad acne, and my
grandmother had bad acne. Well, I first started getting it in 8th
grade and by 9th grade it was horrible. I have to admit though over
the years it has calmed down some. I would say now I have moderate
acne. I have tried it seems like "EVERY" product there was, from the
ones you buy at the drug store to Proactive, Murad, Retin-A, to that
other one which was a close relative to Retin-A. Nothing seemed to
work. I believe my skin is a mixture of things. Oily from my mother,
but Sensetive from my father. So I have to be real careful in facial
products b/c my face is senesitve and will either get red(flushed),

So lemme get this clear. you take 50 mg of zinc, and some beta
carotenne suppliment? Do you know what kind, like what store could I
go to and buy these things? Do you take a multi-vitamin or only those
which you described? How long did it take for you to clear? and where
can i buy that facial cleanser? if you could just explain what
exactly did you take and where can you get these items that would be
soooo helpful, thanks.

My comedy show got changed from Thursday 10/2 to Tuesday 10/7 at Nanny
O’briens in D.C…..show starts at 8:30pm, no cover charge, and i will be going
on
first…they call me "comedy chum" cuz they throw me out there to feed a cold
audience and i’m supposed to warm them up….I will be debuting a new routine
about an old-economy low-tech blue collar guy who goes to work for a hi-tech
white collar new-economy company and 7 minutes of mayhem ensues…

*special bonus feature*: whenever i tryout a new routine there’s always the
chance i will freeze up, go blank and "hit the wall" and have to be gently
helped offstage and escorted out the back to a waiting ambulance …the
equivalent
of going to a stock car race and seeing a really bad crash-not to be missed!

I had "circles" some small, some big, around my entire face for months. After
using a facial depilatory for some fine hair on my face (big, big mistake) I had
ingrown hairs that grew and completely curled themselves around the hair
follicle. In these areas my face looked bruised or dirty. All that hair
underneath my skin had to be shaved and shaved down to the follicle and that
took weeks. I couldn’t afford to go to a doctor so I had to do it on my own,
which I don’t recommend because it is a very lenghty and gruesome process,
especially if you have dark hair. However, all my hard work paid off because my
face is finally starting to clear from this nightmare. I had no choice but to
apply for Medicaid, got approved because of unemployment, and finally went to
the doctor yesterday. He didn’t know what "Vaniqa" was, but he looked it up and
prescribed it to me on my request. It is a cream that slows down the hair
growth. This may not have anything to do with your skin rash problems, but I
always tell people about what happened to me regarding the facial hair problems
I experienced because it disguises itself like acne.

There was a question about dermabrasion…
I had it done back in the ’70’s when I was still
young.
Of couse, technology now is much better than then, but
I was never very happy with the result. Because it
removed the top layer of skin, it changed my skin tone
forever. Some of the scars didn’t disappear, and of
course, I had further acne, thus further scarring.
The procedure made me even more sun sentitvie than I
am, so 10 minutes in the sun, and I have a blazing
burn. I flush much to easily and if you look under
stron light, you see a slight colored demarcation of
the dermabrased skin and the untouched skin.

I had the same symptoms - but it was around my mouth and and chin.
Found out it was contact dermatitis. when I washed my face I always
rub around my mouth and was irritating my face. Besides being on
cortisone, I had to change the way I touched my face when I washed it
and put on make up. Its made a big difference. Hope this helps…

HELLO ALL: Anybody here had a dermabrasion or dermaplaning to get rid
of the skin-marks left by old acne?? I need to know more information
on if dermabrasion works at fixing skin-marks left by acne not acne
itself i got that under control although i use Benzoil Peroxide every
once in a while specially in summer i use a lot…

Please i would like to hear your views on this
