Andrea- I used Ortho Tri-Cylen for a year and it
worked great! Then my body must have changed, and I
was breaking out really badly. Since it stopped
working, I have been getting my period 2 times a month
since April. I have tried Alesse and Levlen to get me
back on track (for both things) and no luck. I am
very bummed out.
Yea..I took orthtricycloen for my acne..it didn’t work =(. Nothing
has worked for me! If you find anything that does, tell me please =)
Oh yes..what kind of toner do you use? I’m debating between witch
hazel & tea tree oil, thanks.
Has anyone tried Nivea Sunscreen Lotion? Is it non-oily?

I was wondering - I know my acne has a lot to do with hormones. My
doctor said to try birth control pills to get everything back in
shape, but I found some birth control pills make my acne worse.
Anyone use pills that have helped your acne? Thanks, Andrea

I too have tried a ton of different products. I use Retin A micro, so
my skin can be kind of irritable. I try to look for powders that are
talc-free and concealer that is mineral oil free. I found that if I
use a gentle cleanser even though I have oily skin, I don’t irritate
my skin as much. And I found that I break out more if I used pressed
powder - I’m not really sure why. The concealer you are talking about
irritated my skin more then helped it. I use Prescriptives loose
powder or Maybelline shine free loose powder. I found that retin A
micro has helped a lot. I think different things work for different
people. I’m always changing what I use - so I’m interested in what

Right now I am using Vichy, they have these new products that are suppose to
help skin problems and even out your skin tone. I have been using these
products facial wash, toner and moisturizer which cost me about 60.00$, for the
past 3 weeks. I don’t find I have any big differences but I guess I’ll continue
using them because I haven’t had the really big deep ones lately. The big test
is still to come, once a month my face breaks out badly and then I’ll really
see. I’ll get back to you’s and let you’s know what’s up.

Cosmetic makeup for acne sufferers like limited.I seriously recommend
The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Foundation and Concealer.It combats acne and
covers everything up.
Please don’t ever ever use foundation in a cake form.It really clogs
up your pores no matter how expensive the brand is!Opt for liquid or
cream.

condition started to worsen,these products didn’t work at
all.Basically,Clean and Clear’s flaw is that it strips off all the
oil from your skin,causing dryness and stimulates your skin to
produce more oil.I really detest the way Clean and Clear markets its
products,claiming that they are "acne cleansers".If they are,they
should work.But they didn’t.
Neutrogena’s products really irk me too.Like Clean and Clear,they

I would like to know the same thing, I use maybelline shine free pressed powder,
but I need a liquid concealer, so I’m with Jenny here asking for suggestions.
We don’t care if you use names of the brands, that’s what we want.
