Does anyone in this group get acne at about the same
location on the left and right side of their
face/body?
Usually If I break out on the left side of my nose I
soon after get it on the right side of my nose. Can
anyone comment on this?
I do believe a persons diet has a lot to do with their skin. Not saying everyone
that eats chocolate will break out. Each person with acne prone skin, has to
research what food products causes a skin reaction. I can’t eat chocolate
either. The reason they say milk products is no good for you has partly to do
with the hormones, and by-products that’s found in milk. Also humans are the
only species that use milk past weening. Something to think about. Sugar is
another factor that can cause breakouts. I’m assuming it’s b/c of the high
levels it causes in the body. The body’s sugar level rises and then the hormones
androgens(supposedly the main culprit in break outs) are released.

I have always heard that eating chocolate can cause pimples. There
were various explanations for this, i.e. acid, fat, etc, and I never
believed it; but I have milk allergies, and while I do drink milk, I
find that my pimples are much tamer when I don’t. Perhaps, in this
sense, chocolate IS bad for acne, since it has milk in it!

So far my face is looking decent. I believe it has a lot to do with
my diet. Remember the saying "you are what you eat." Okay well
recently I got a pimple on my cheek and I put some mint julep mask on
it and when I took it off, the area was a lil red. Now it’s a lil red
patch on my face. What helps sometime in getting the red out of a
pimple, or calming the irritation down. For some reason tea tree
doesn’t work on me. thnks

Building toward my bath and body business, my first products went out
to my "happy labrats" last month and I’m just starting to receive the
critiques back … they are, as expected, very honest and wonderful
input that tells me what is good and what I can improve. This,
however, must take a back seat to my revved-up jobhunt … my
finances are in dire need of landing gainful employment! To increase
my chances in the success of this now-desparate area, I’ve joined 2
brand new groups of professionals in my same field for the support I
need most.
Recently, all my mail was bouncing, as my email box was overfilling.
It is for that reason that, with much regret, I must choose some of
my groups and unsubmit at this time. Should anyone want to write me

Hello everyone. I am new to the group. I am not sure if this is the
group for me but there seems that there are no active groups for my
issue. I don’t have issues with acne but I have this awful cellulite
I am trying to get rid of and am wondering if anyone else battles
this and what they are doing to get rid of it. I do have some tips
though for acne I have occasionally. I had to change my diet by no
longer eating fried foods and going vegetarian. I wash my face with
Johnson’s Baby soap once a day. I use a bar soap called "Z" bar from
my dermatologist twice a week. A friend of mine who had bad acne
often uses oat meal bathes on her face and we both stopped using all
cosmetics on our faces years ago. I hope this message doesn’t sound
like I am lording it over because I don’t have acne but this gosh
dern cellulite is my mortal enemy. Any ideas on what to do are
appreciated. Thanks,
