Comments on: anyone successfully get rid of acne scars?

I have used manual microdermabrasion Epidermx. It’s really the most
awesome stuff and I swear by it. My acne scars are 65-70% better.
You know how you use be under a certain light and hope nobody sees
the pock marks? That was me. Now, I can hardly see them. It did
take several months to strip the horny layer of dead skin, but this
is the best I’ve ever tried. Elicina didn’t work, and all of the
over the counter creams never touched me, but this rocks!

Now, if you can all help us find something for facial spider veins
and the best skin bleaching system. I heard HQ 4-6% works, and I
just ordered it, but haven’t started it yet.

I use a renewal wash (from St. Ives) and it works wonders, the scars along
my chin are reduced visibly. Or try a papaya soap to whiten and exfoliate
your skin.

Hi, I have and had scars from acne and also wanted to get rid of
them. I started exfoliating my skin 2x’s a week and using an acid
treatment. For exfoliating i used 2 tbs. sugar and 1 tbs. vegetable
oil (yes this scared me too) and for the acid treatment i used 2
mashed strawberries and 1 tbs. lemon juice. I feel comfortable going
out witout foundation now and will continue my home remedies!!!

Why do you use vegetable oil when you exfoliate? Just curious.

to know if anyone has tried this treatment.

Hi all,

I’ve used Proactiv for about a year with really good results - no more acne
breakouts,
period. I’m really happy with it. However, I still have scars. The slight
redness doesn’t
bother me as much as the pitting. Makeup doesn’t help and in certain
lighting, it
looks bad. Here’s my question:

Has anyone tried DMAE-Alpha Lipoic-C-Ester serums for scars?

I read about it in The Acne Prescription by Dr. Perricone and he claims that
in clinical
testing, it eliminates of severe scarring (including surgical ones) and
gives large pores
"porcelain" qualities. Of course, he recommends his own products, which are
**very**
expensive at Sephora. I may buy the generic versions but I want to get some
feedback
first.
