Hello all,
my doctor gave me anti biotic pills for my acne plus two gels to
apply. I want to ask: what does the anti biotic do really? and is
there any side effects besides the fact that u will get a tummy ache
if u take it on an empty stomache?

I have had acne for many years, but recently got worse after a
pregnancy. I am currently on medication, but it is not totally
gone. Any ideas of care that I could use for my face that I could
try?
I have been using Mary Kays cleanser for acne but it really hasn’t
cleared my skin. I have less breakouts with this but the blackheads
are still there. What does everybody else use?

Hi! I use Bare Escentials makeup. I love it. I also have oily acne-
prone skin and my face doesn’t get oily and the makeup stays on. I
buy it from qvc.com. I hope this helps.
This is true, But it even explains how it can help with the hormones,
and how maybe even do to diet can play a BIG impact on hormones. It
is a very interesting read. And NO if you read my first post I
clearly stated that I am not selling anything. I had to buy this
online book. But I feel that why should something like this cost
money? We have been suffering to much to have ‘pay’ for another
thing. So I’m giving it away, b/c I understand and have been there.

That sounds more like peri-oral dermatitis. Try avoiding mouthwash,
and using a non-tartar, non-flouride toothpaste fro a few weeks to
see if this helps. Sometimes all the additives in daily use products
can cause acne and other skin problems.

currently, im using a deep facial cleanser for oily skin but nothing change its
still oily. another problem is that i dont know why i have this dry skin at
both ends(left & right) of my mouth. what will i do?
use 1/2 teaspoon of neem juice and tulsi juice mixed in equal quantity , massage
it on ur face till dry and then leave for an hour .then wash the face with luke
warm water. do twice dailyfor 12 days.
Hi Lorraine, I use Body Shop Tea TRee oil to get rid of acne, I apply it
directly twice a day and it will speed up the healing. That works for me. I
also steam my face once a week w/ a mixture of water and lavender essential
oil and apply MK revitalizing facial scrub, it clears up my black heads
(around the nose).
i am just getting over my accutane treatment and unfortunately i did a lot of
picking, which has now left me with scars all over my face. i’ve done some
research and have started using rose hip oil twice a day. you can get it at
health food stores for about $20. it’s worked pretty well on the scars around my
temples and forehead, though i still have lots of redness on my cheeks.
sometimes at night i’ll combine other treatments like zinc cream (baby diaper
cream), emu oil and jojoba oil. but probably the best prescription is time and
maintaining a good cleansing and moisturizing regimen.
