well I’ve tried pro active it only made my skin problem worser, but I’ve
noticed
that Clean and Clear works wonders. Also there’s some pills, you can get
from any health food store, AKN skin care, they’re really good.

Fading blemishes and scars away - my journey

Tuesday, October 25th, 2005

I’m 30, had bad acne as a teenager and thanks to ignorant relatives,
they got me using Ivory hand soap to wash my face, saying that will
cure pimples. Of course it didn’t work–it got much worse. I lived
with that until I discovered Proactiv in my mid twenties. It was a
miracle product but it severely dried out my skin. Now I am pimple
free (except around my period there’s one or two flareup but very
minor and go away naturally), but I have 4 - 5 acne scars, 2 that
are very visible.

I’ve been trying different products. I tried exfoliating products
and they didn’t work for me, since they all contain AHA and my face
got all red and sensitive.

Now with all the skin whitening products from Japan and Korea, I
decided to try. I tried some lower end shiseido whitening products
(more…)

question

I’ve tried honey when I used it on a homemade facial mask, mixture of honey,
oatmeal and milk, it did lighten my skin and help w/ the blackheads, I have
light to moderate acne so I couldn’t really tell if honey really works.

i read somewhere that honey, helps with acne, has anyone ever
tried that?
