    Hi,
I am 45 and have had acne on my face, back and chest
since puberty - never very severe except in
pregnancies for first few months, but enough to affect
    my confidence.

For the first time I feel the acne is under control.
Possibly because of my age and hormones diminishing,
but I think it is more to do with my simple daily
routine as if I don’t stick to it I still get
    breakouts.

About five years ago I started getting an adverse
reaction to the benoxyl acne cream I was using and
stopped, but I saw a doctor on television discussing

acne and I started using a milder benoxyll
cream(2.5%)but in a different way. Instead of just
applying to individual spots as they occurred, I use a
thin layer all over affected area to kill the
bacteria, hopefully before the spots flare up. To
prevent a reaction however, I use a thin moisturiser
all over first to create a barrier between my skin and
the benoxyll and to stop skin drying out too much.

In addition to this I use Neutrogena facial wash/mask
morning and night, making sure I remove all traces by
rinsing well with lukewarm water. Every few days I
use it as a mask. I also use the Neutrogena
exfoliating gel to get rid of dead skin build up every
few days (but not same day as mask).

I suggest use whitening products to whitened spots and dark circles. Godiva
and Nivea truly works but I suggest, if you want something to clear up acne
and have some serious whitening to even out your skin tone fast, use Godiva.

Godiva’s main ingredient is licorice extract, the best non-chemical
whitening agent. Nivea’s whitening range also uses licorice, but Godiva
works faster. Godiva has a complete skin care range, from facial wash,
soaps, toners, moisturizer and sunblock, press powders and whitening cream
    (that seriously works I swear).

Cetaphil facial wash and tea tree oil toners (I use the tea tree oil
freshener by Body Shop) is a great combination, at least it worked for me to
clear my skin, I only have one or two of them during PMS and after that it
    quickly clears up.
