A couple of months ago I did something real stupid. I had a huge
black head on my cheek area near the side of my nose. So I squeezed
it. Now I have no black head-but it left a huge open pore. It’s
disgusting I have never had this happen before. Anyone know how to
get rid of something like this?????

I have never been to a derm or doc with these places. They would be really
sore but I would squeeze them and get all the gunk out and apply neosporene
and they would then go away. The other day I found one on my cheeck usually
I get them around my hairline along my jawline. I have been using AVON’S new
porefection line of products (cleanser,toner,moisturizer) as well as a
topical antibiotic of the mornings and then the PoreFection products at
night along with a benzoyl peroxide gel and the new place ruptured easily
without ever getting sore and didn’t leave a scar this time. I haven’t had
any in my hairline since I started on these products which I am thankful for
and funnily enough I have no scarring from them in my hairline but my cheeks
have scarring from just the acne that didnt turn into these type things.

Thanks Joani, for the help I am currently on a topical antibiotic as well as
an oral one which is for preventative measure for kidney problems. I have
been lucky not to have terrible scarring and what I do have seems to be
fading somewhat. I can now wear makeup and it covers the scars.

Dear Shelly,
What you have is cystic acne. Whatever you do…try to get the cysts extracted
by a professional. If you are squeezing them and blood is coming out…you
probably will scar. I would suggest getting on an oral antibiotic asap. I
would also tend to suggest going to a plastic surgeon vs. a dermatologist
because these days plastic surgeons are doing more resurfacing and are more
knowledgeable. I am sure the cysts hurt as they have pressure behind them.

I’ve gotten those and they are awful. They eventually get a soft spot
on them and will ooze if you press on them. I used to go to a
dermatologist who would inject quartazone into them and then sooner or
later I would feel this stuff running down my face.
She told me it was a boil. Most of what came out looked like blood
but you could see the puss from the infection. I was then left with a
black spot on my face where the lump used to be. Eventually the black
spot would shrink up and go away.

i have an oily skin.i have a lot of boils over my face.how to cure it
naturally using herbs.i have tried many treatments.none of them have

face that when squeezed only blood came out and it looks kind of black? I

My son also has this horrible redness. I made up home remedies till I
can get him in to the doctors office and so far its working but it’s a
long slow process. I make home made lotions creams soaps and liquid
soaps and I made up a facial wash for him that is very mild and instead
of using all distilled water in the recipe I used half aloe extract. I
also added lavender Essential oils and tea tree EO. It really helped
clear up his acne but those red spots left over ….ewwww. He said
that since using my products he’s at least able to move his mouth and
jaw without feeling the scabs cracking on his jaw line. He had awful
dryness from using benzoil peroxide products store bought. Since he’s
switched to what I’ve made up for him he’s been doing great but those
red spots are taking forever to clear up. When I take him Tuesday to
the doctor what should I ask him for to get rid of the red spots? Our
doctor is my uncle and is open to letting us use anything we ask within
