Pimples on the face

Sunday, January 22nd, 2006

Hi Group,
I am a 18 year old guy and get pimples on my face quite often and use
some sandle wood or clove paste to keep them at bay. Any other way to
get rid of them completely ? And also to keep the face fresh, fair
and glowing ?
Thanks
Indra

this??? I don’t know about making the peel mask or cream, honestly I just
started , I use fresh lemons on my spots and it burns but it helps, I have oily
skin so I have to use strong stuff, lol, well good luck with that, and if you
find a way to make it I would like to know how you did it!!

Joane,
I want to make a roll on zit zapper type of medication for myself and
my teenage son.
I have bought similar items from other companies and thought with my
herbs, essential oils and other ingredients I could come up with
something on my own. I do make my own facial lotion, retin A cream and

Joane,
I want to make a roll on zit zapper type of medication for myself and
my teenage son.
I have bought similar items from other companies and thought with my
herbs, essential oils and other ingredients I could come up with
something on my own. I do make my own facial lotion, retin A cream and
facial wash so I wanted to try a spot treatment. I have on hand
salicylic acid, vitamin A, vitamin P, vitamin E, allantoin, jojoba oil,
shea oil, olive oil and many more oils.
My pan was to only use jojoba oil because I know from my research that
it doesn’t clog your pores. I’ve seen other spot treaters that also
contain alcohol but I want to leave this out of my recipe because its so
drying.
From what I’ve been researching on the proper usage of salicylic acid it
should be used at no more than 2%.

Whoever you are:

You think that I am wrong but you won’t understand it. 2000
Years ago, a very smart person, called Socrates, once said: "I know
that I don’t know". I know that I don’t know but do you?

Sincerely,

Hi there from Joani,
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has emailed me and is so thankful
for what I have given and/or told them. I am a professional and realize that
your skin is one of the biggest issues regarding self esteem. I have seen so
many people over the past several years that have improved and feel better about
themselves.

I am a licensed professional and only want to help as I am home on maternity
leave for those of you wondering why I am doing this. I have also had several
clients that cannot afford my services that I have done for free. I just can’t
stand the thought of someone being denied services knowing that I can help them.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again and I will still be around to help out
anyone who needs it.
Best wishes to everyone out there!

Hey people, I’m only catching the last part of this. My brother is in this
group. He globs on this green stuff Joani (also from this group I think
. . . or is that a different one?) sent him. Actually you’re probably
supposed to rub in a thin layer, but Jake has a habit of going berserk about
everything. To be honest I don’t think he had much of a problem to begin
with but he raves about the stuff. Anyway, to get to the point, a long time
ago he saw a dermatologist and he said it was a big rip-off.

That’s about all I know. Jake hates people and he hates "consumerism" and he
"hates hates hates" everything on this "hypocritical bourgeois" planet
(except for his beloved twin sister of course, ME ME ME ME!!!!) but he can’t
stop talking about Joani. We’re fairly religious, but if we weren’t, I think
he would set up a shrine for her.

If this is the wrong group I apologize. And I really don’t even know if your

alpha lipoic acid

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

Hi, here is what I found out about Alpha Lipoic Acid:

"Alpha Lipoic Acid - A firming and tightening agent; promotes skin
suppleness; helps improve the appearance of uneven texture and skin
discoloration. It is a powerful antioxidant that is capable of
working in both fat and water soluble areas of the cell, thereby
boosting the efficacy of Vitamins A, C, E and other major anti-
oxidants in the skin."

I also got clarification on products that claim to "cure" anything:

"Some will take advantage of your fear. Be careful of trusting
products that claim to cure (or give relief to) serious illnesses or
a wide range of illnesses. Also be wary of products that promise a
break-through treatment or ancient remedy. If there really were a

Chris! I feel the same way you do. It’s all bullshit. There are too many
people using our problems to make money, not help us.

That’s my 2 cents….

Thanks,
Melissa

First, I’d like to thank you for your response! :-) Now, I will
address your issues and concerns to the best of my ability. And
please I would love to make this an open forum discussion. I AM
interested in your questions and concerns. As I said before I’m
new to using NuVante (going on 3 months) and what I tell you is from
my OWN personal experience not from what anyone else is TELLING me
to SAY.

From your response it looks as if your first question/concern is:
What is the purpose of the NuVante skincare line and other products,
will it cure my acne or other skin issues that are hereditary or due
to hormonal imbalance or is it just for people to maintain normal
skin?

So let me begin by asking a question? How many products have we
