Mild - moderate Acne and Aspirin mask & dermabrasion

Hi! I’m usually just a lurker, but wanted to let anyone with mild to
moderate acne who doesn’t want to take anibiotics what seems to have
been working for me. I stopped my tetracycline about 6-8 weeks ago, but
so far I’m ok. I wanted to give my body a break from the antibiotics
for a while. I read about an aspirin mask on healthboards.com and it
seems to be working pretty well. I use an at home microdermabrasion
scrub (the kind you use the sponge tool with, not the rub with your
hands kind) then follow with the aspirin mask. My skin has been very
smooth and pretty clear. I use the mask on my back and it has kept it
prety clear and very smooth. Basically it’s just uncoated generic
aspirin (6-12 tablets, very cheap at walmart) mixed with just enough
water to make a paste. Put it on the affected area and let it sit for
about 5-10 minutes, them wash it off. Hopefully it will continue to
work.
Good luck to everyone. I know it’s hard to find something that works,

and a lot of the time, they only work for a little while. Then we have
to look for something else.
