Strange cure…

Monday, July 17th, 2006

I don’t really get this, but one of the only natural cure’s I’ve
seen work was the time that I reduced my eating habits. I didn’t
really eat that much and drank only water. Every day, I would drink
alot of it…but once a day I’d drink as much as I can at one time. I
would drink around 2 liters, and it wasn’t so bad.
I don’t know if it would work with everyone, but it did help me.

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

I’m a senior in high school, and i have breakouts all of the time. I
would like to know if anyone could help me with what i should use to
cleanse my face with. I really dont know what to use because
everything says something different. I have an oily face when i wake
up in the morning, by the time late afternoon comes my make-up has
worn off and my face has become dry and scaley looking. Should i use a
mask or moisturizer if so what one?

Any help would be wonderful

I completely understand what you’re going through. My acne has been
horrible as well and I’m just now getting it under control.

It’s an emotional and heartbreaking thing that happens, but just know
that you are not alone!

What I have found that made a HUGE impact on my skin getting better
is Olay Vitamins. I get the Energy Packs. You can buy them in the
drugstore in any vitamin aisle. They come in a white box and have
the Oil of Olay emblem on them. They are about $11, but they are so
worth it! You take one pack and day and there are 30 packs. It’s
amazing how much you think you are doing for your skin, but then you
need to help from the inside out. You might be lacking a nutrient
and don’t even know.

Saturday, July 15th, 2006

I have started using the new Reveal range from Revlon though it’s written
anti-wrinkle i got advice that it’s safe to use as long as it’s not indicated
for mature skin. The night cream starts working instantly after 3 days of usage
i can feel that my skin is really softer since it had been dried out by
dalacyn-t and i cant wait for my skin to clear out. you can give it a try i am
resident in africa and the price for the range is just wow out of this world
about US $60 for the 50ml night cream. good luck

Hi

Im new on this site and have never really talked openly about my acne
on my back! I have had this since I was 15 and its just really too long
now!! Im 25 and I still have this problem.. Like some others of you I
have also been prescribed various contraceptive pills etc and tried all
antibiotics. the only one that EVER worked for me was Dianette and I
put on so much weight and had such mood changes that I had to come off
it anyway ); !! I am the kind of person that would rather do something
a natural way and have spent ages on line looking for any clues into
why I suffer this. I think it must be a hormone inbalance, but anyway
Ive started drinking 2 litres of water every day and that is making a
slight difference. I am also seeing quite a big link with sugar and
acne and have been reading quite alot about research into this. I want
to try to overcome this…the worst thing I find is having to hide it

I use an antibacterial soap to wash my face,
Then a cleanser,
I then but moisturiser on my face it is called Emprizone and is a
nutrient filled gel,
I the apply Proactive three step routine,
Afterwards I use a clean and clear moisturiser,
Then I use a Neutrogena one spot treatment on existing acne.

I have used these in many combinations such as using the Proactive by
itself like recommended for months, but have discovered that what I
use now helps to control acne breakouts, but my results are not

Hey all. First, a word of advice in reference to another post about
buying a product on ebay. This could be a bad idea because if the the
product is open, you never know what is in there. And even if it
isn’t open, it could be expired, which could be worse for your skin.

My story….
I as well did not start getting acne until college. I moved across
the country from a humid state to the dry state of Arizona. This
could have effected me, this I do not know. I messed with drugs a bit
my first years, and this is when it started. That made sense. Toward
the end of school I was clean, but the hectic lifestyle of a college
senior taxed me as well. That made sense. It sucked, but at least I
was doing myself good. I almost feel that those years abusing myself
knocked my hormones out of balance and this is the result. Karma, I
guess. Since then, it’s been strange. I was using proactive for a

Roaccutane same as accutane?

Wednesday, July 12th, 2006

My daughter has been on accutane twice. I’m assuming this is the same
as accutane. The first time (14 yrs. old) it cleared up beautifully.
Then, 10 yrs. later, the problem returned. She went back on accutane
to be rewarded with vicious headaches. Since possible stroke is one
of the side effects she obviously stopped taking the medication.

She now has adult acne that seems resistant to everything. The only
thing not tried is light therapy. Anyone have experience with this?
