Arbonne dispute
—–Original Message—–
Perhaps Arbonne should have their products listed on www.ewg.org so
that everyone can see and compare the ingredients. There are over
14000 products listed and it’s a neat site to see what the toxic
ratings are and also what each ingredient means and how safe it is.
Check it out for an unbiased report.
Not everyone is completely up to speed with what is toxic. Parabens
have been found in breast cancer tumors before they were banned in
deodorants. I found parabens in my former toothpaste that was
actually a great toothpaste and helped to heal gum disease but I no
longer use it as no amount of parabens can be considered safe.
I think recent statistics show that at least 1/3 of children have
allergies. Hmmmmm. Will this get better? Not if we keep polluting
our bodies with any toxins. We need to detoxify and put only
healthy and beneficial things in our mouths and on our skin. Each
generation is getting sicker and for the first time in history,
children have a shorter life expectancy that their parents.
Perhaps a small amount of parabens won’t kill or hurt us but why
risk it? Grapefruit seed extract, vitamin E oil and tea tree oil
are a few natural preservatives that could be used.
Anyone with acne should be concerned about what they put on their
skin as the skin is a reflection of what is going on inside the body.
Acne is a result of bacteria imbalance in the bowels, clogged up
liver (hormones need a clean liver to be processed effieciently),
nutrient imbalances and probably other reasons I’m not aware of.
Just my two cents after working for (and learning from) a holistic
MD and having gotten rid of my acne!
