Perhaps Arbonne should have their products listed on www.ewg.org so
that everyone can see and compare the ingredients. There are over
14000 products listed and it’s a neat site to see what the toxic
ratings are and also what each ingredient means and how safe it is.
Check it out for an unbiased report.

Not everyone is completely up to speed with what is toxic. Parabens
have been found in breast cancer tumors before they were banned in
deodorants. I found parabens in my former toothpaste that was
actually a great toothpaste and helped to heal gum disease but I no
longer use it as no amount of parabens can be considered safe.

I think recent statistics show that at least 1/3 of children have

Hi Nancy,

That’s wonderful that you had great results with their products. I did not.

I was not picking on them. If the question had been brought up about
Neutrogena or some other products that did not work for me, my reply would
have been similar.

I did not go on and on about it. I simply stated my experience with the
person asking the question.

Are you/have you ever been a sales rep for Arbonne?

Have a great week!
Blessings,

Sharon,

Thanks for sharing your story also. I also worked with a holistic MD. I
learned so much from him and his patients. Have an awesome week!
Blessings,
Ro

arbonne question

Ro,

It looks to me like you definitely are picking on Arbonne. The
original question was whether or not Arbonne products work. You make
them out as if they were poisonous.

Yet you state yourself that you have extreme sensitivities. Your
consultant should have put you on the basic system for at least 2
weeks before allowing you to put salycilic acid on your face.

The problem is not in the minute amounts of parabens in Arbonne –
it’s with your particular skin needs.

Perhaps rather than going on and on about what you don’t like - why
don’t you share with us what you do like.

Ro,

Nice to see your resume but apparently you have not completed your research
regardless. Read up more on what the FDA actually is and what they can and
cannot do. They are not a governing body over the skin care industry as you
imply. The USA does not have a governing body over this industry whatsoever.

Switzerland does! And it is indeed very very stringent. Arbonne products are
all formulated in Switzerland under these strict laws. Their safety is beyond
reproach.

Google AIRD and Pierre Bottiglieri if you need to.

Furthermore, if you would please continue your research into Arbonne’s
parabens, they are synthetic, not mineral oil derivatives.

arbonne question

Hi Laurie Jeanne,

I have done my homework. I am a Medical Massage Therapist (15+ years) and I
have been studying skincare and personal care products and the toxic
ingredients some of them contain for over 10 years. I had to do this for my
health (because of the Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) and the health of my
family. I am not picking on Arbonne. I simply stated what happened to me.
As far as the ingredients, I stand by my original e-mail.

BUTYLENE GLYCOL - this glycol is the only glycol that is NOT on the GRAS
list. (FDA’s Generally Recognized As Safe list). Go to FDA website.

There are several preservatives that do not contain parabens in them that
are considered safe according to The ToxicFree Foundation, www.toxicfree.org
Maybe Arbonne should use those preservatives instead.

Ro,

I’m sorry you had a reaction to a product but before you bash it; please do
all your research.

Butylene Glycol is an organic alcohol — most acne products contain SD40
alcohol — how THAT’S something you need to worry about! It’s chemical and it’s
very harsh on the skin.

The other ingredients you list below are preservatives and you know what? If
you don’t have any preservatives at all in your products, little green things
start growing out of them!!

Arbonne products contain less that 1% preservatives (do your homework – other
companies have between 20 and 40% preservatives).

Hi,

I don’t know who owns this list, but it is possible that whoever owns it is
an Arbonne distributor.

*** NOTE FROM LIST OWNER***
I am NOT an arbonne distributor or a distributor of any kind. I started this
list for people to have a place to come to and not be bombarded by people just
trying to sell their products. That has always been and always will be the
purpose of this list.
***NOTE FROM LIST OWNER***

I suffer with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and had a reaction to Arbonne.
I would not use it.

I have 2 testimonials!!

First me: I have suffered from adult acne from age 18 - 46 (when I switched
to Arbonne). I had cystic as well as hormonal acne and have a scarred chin as a
result.

Now (at 49 so 3 years on Arbonne) I may occasionally get a few blemishes
before my period but Clear Advantage and Extra Strength Masque take that away
immediately… so they never even really "break out" any more.

And the Thermal Fusion Enzyme Mask has been working wonderfully on my acne
scarring as well!!!

Second testimonial is my niece. She’s much younger — early 20’s but she had
been plagued with teenage acne. She now has it completely under control with
