Acne Links

Hi Everyone,

I regret to inform you that I will be quitting this group. It seems that
this group should be renamed "Nay M’s Group." Between her talking about
things that have NOTHING to do with acne and her telling us to do things
that we’ve obviously tried before (we’d have to be complete idiots not to
know that we need to drink water), I’m just fed up. Really, would people be
trying to swallow olive oil by the tablespoon if drinking more water
actually helped?

I am also personally insulted by her email urging us to stop using Estee
Lauder products. She is insulting our intelligence by trying attempting to
do this. Not only is Estee Lauder eye makeup remover the ONLY one that
won’t break me out or make my eyes burn, but it has been around for years.
Also, when I said that these products are not giving us acne and that if

they were dangerous they wouldn’t be on the market, she replied that
cigarettes are still on the market. Is she for real? Everyone KNOWS that
cigarettes are bad for our health– there are even labels right on the
packages. However, if there were skin care products that were giving people
skin cancer, they wouldn’t be on the market or the government would put
warnings on them.

Furthermore, if she were correct like she’d like to have everyone believe,
then our acne would go away once we stopped using these products. Well, I’d
be willing to bet that less than half of us in this group even uses Estee
Lauder products. If this is the case, then most of us have acne and we
don’t even USE Estee Lauder. What about the guys, Nay M? Such nonsense!

My advice to everyone before I go is to do what your body responds to, don’t
be scared by loons with their own agendas, and don’t consider something to
be working for you unless it’s worked for at least a year.

Good luck to everyone!
