Proactive?
Sunday, December 31st, 2006I don’t know where you live, but a health food store might be best.
Not GNC but one that is probably not a franchise. Do a general
search on the net for Dudu Osun. you can order it online.

I’ve been breaking out badly lately and I need something that’s going
to work fast! Does anyone here know of anything that can help work
fast and clear my face? Nothing is working! I’m so frustrated! I would
like something that’s afforable (I’ve decided against Pro-active
because of the costs). I have yet another question….has anyone here
heard of or used the product Aveeno? I’ve been to their website and
have seen them at my local stores around where I live. It sounds like
something that might work but I’m not sure. Do you think I should try
it?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. I’m getting so frustrated with
my skin care issues! ugh!!

Erika,
Hydrogen Peroxide has been used in many Acne products (Used in every
over the counter acne medication in the 80’s). When I was a teenager and my
skin wasn’t as sensitive I could use the cleanser, astringent and acne
cream. Now, however, I am 34 and it’s pretty harsh on my skin. It does dry
your skin out but it’s also known for leaving hyperpigmentaion marks.
(Scars). It really depends on your skin and what formulation it is in the
product.
Proactiv uses Peroxide and it’s probably a better quality product than
buying Clearasil over the counter. I have noticed that that have some acne
creams that have a lower dose of peroxide than the standard 10 %. You could
just start out with a cleanser and see if it dries out your skin too much.
Okay,I have two questions here. Can Hydrogen Peroxide help with acne?
I’ve heard mixed answers on this - some say it helps a lot, but other
says it makes things worse.
Also, can using Neosporin on your acne help get rid of it quickly?

also, tea tree oil works, but only on a few people. give it a try but don’t
expect much.
Hi I was wondering since I am on pernament disability with very little funds
would you be willing to share what you have done from this book to help me
with my acne?
good luck with everything andrew. i’m sure your wife will understand; family
is the best thing we have for support. look into skin clinics in california,
so you already have a head start on the process. you’ll find what works for
you and if anything, it’s just time. be brave and it’ll be fine. again, good
luck.

wow. i think that’s awesome that you’re worried about effecting your baby
during pregnancy. i haven’t heard of any natural remedies for cystic acne
(and i’ve had it on and off for a long time), but keep looking. also, aloe
(injested in liquid form) is supposed to be good for overall digestion and
cleansing. check that out. good luck!

facials w/extactions are the best i’ve found for myself. they’re expensive
but if you can find cosmotology schools in the area they’ll do it for a
cheaper rate.

hi erika, i know if someone who uses it and she loves it. it seems to be
something that has to be used regularly, not a quick fix or a temporary
treatment. if you’re the type that can be diciplined, then go ahead, it’ll
probably work!
