Two questions..

Erika,

Hydrogen Peroxide has been used in many Acne products (Used in every
over the counter acne medication in the 80’s). When I was a teenager and my
skin wasn’t as sensitive I could use the cleanser, astringent and acne
cream. Now, however, I am 34 and it’s pretty harsh on my skin. It does dry
your skin out but it’s also known for leaving hyperpigmentaion marks.
(Scars). It really depends on your skin and what formulation it is in the
product.

Proactiv uses Peroxide and it’s probably a better quality product than
buying Clearasil over the counter. I have noticed that that have some acne
creams that have a lower dose of peroxide than the standard 10 %. You could
just start out with a cleanser and see if it dries out your skin too much.

Okay,I have two questions here. Can Hydrogen Peroxide help with acne?
I’ve heard mixed answers on this - some say it helps a lot, but other
says it makes things worse.
Also, can using Neosporin on your acne help get rid of it quickly?
