Well Erika, I I have used everything i can for my acne.. and rigt now i am
stable with yasmin, althought i know as soon as I stop them i will break out
again.. its just too keep on living a little dream meanwhile. Ok I used Tea Tree
Oil for it .. and it worked a little bit( that means i waqsnt all totally clear)
and then i made some kind of resistance and it stopped working from one day to
another.. so I had to start with the pills and antibiotics.. so that’s my
experience with Tea tree— maybe it can help you decide !!!

Proactive?

Now that you mention african black soap, I used this soap called Dudu Osun…IT
WAS WONDERFUL!!! It cleans without drying. you don’t go through the peeling and
burning. A lot of black soaps are not genuine, but if you found one that works,
go for it! Oh and the scars DO smoothly go away. The soap is good for your
whole BODY!

Hello, My name is Lisa J and I have tried Proactive treatment, too. My
mother, in fact, reccommended it to me after watching the hour
informercial on TV. Let me say ONE THING: Procactive ONLY made my
face feel more refreshed but as far as PIMPLES–????? Still have them.
Yep. Big ones, small ones, blackheads, too. I tried Procative for
ALMOST A YEAR!!! From April 2005 to Feb 2006, I spent all this money
for NOTHING. My face felt clean at times but the pimples did not go
down. They did not diminish in size.

Proactive?

I tried proactive when it first came out. It was OK but it was too expensive
for me. Now my skin is very sensitive so I’m not sure how great it would be
for me.

Proactive?

Hi Lisa, thanks for telling me that. So Proactive isn’t all what it’s
cracked up to be? Well, I’d still like to try it. But I don’t need to
order it because one of the malls around where I live sells it. So
hopefully it’s not too expensive there. But you’re right…it is
outrageous what they make you pay each month! Ugh!
I’ve been struggling with acne for about two years. I’ve tried some
of the Neutrogena products and while some of them did make my skin
feel smoother and cleaner…it just didn’t keep back acne for good.
Sometimes my skin would look great and other times it wouldn’t. Not to
mention, I have some very small acne scars that I’d like to get rid
of. But wow…I’m sorry you’re still struggling with it after all
these years. Have you tried going the natural route? I’ve gone to
health food stores around here, but some of their products are really
expensive.
I really hope you find something that helps you. No one should have

I’ve heard tea tree oil is good for clearing up acne. Is this true?
And is it still really great for your skin?

cystic acne treatment and pregnancy

Very, very vital is for you to supply your body with probiotics.
They are healthy bacteria otherwise known as microorganisms. Often
times this alone will also help your acne. Usually acne comes when
there is either a bowel bacteria imbalance (we have about 5 pounds
of bacteria in us!) or a clogged up liver that can’t process
hormones. Doing a bowel cleanse is also helpful.

When babies are born they need to pick up bacteria in the birth
canal to help them build their immune system. About 70% of our
immune systems is located in the bowels. When a baby is born via C-
section they are VERY likely to grow up sicker and have allergies.
They can only get this bacteria if the mother has it.

Some people have noticed a big difference using clay masks. This
can take up to two months of almost daily use to see results. I use

Proactive?

Hi There..I’m Kassie…Proactive did not work for me either it just made my acne
worse. There is something though that was recommended to me. Its a soap, its
called african black soap I purchased it on www.soap-scents.com. Its made with
all natural ingredients and made by women in Africa. It has worked wonders not
only is it getting rid of the acne but the scars are diminishing as well. I was
skeptical at first because I’ve tried so many products but believe this has
worked for me. I hope it works for all of you….Kassie

So if you stop using it the acne just comes back? Gosh, how
discouraging. I’d still like to try it but I was hoping it would
clear me up for good. You hear all those great stories about people
who tried it and how much it helped them. But, oh well. Maybe I
should visit my dermatologist for suggestions.
Thanks for advice and for sharing your experience with it. :)

I have struggled with ance problems for 22 years, since I was 13. I
have yet to find a product that really works. I, too, have (almost)
given up on the fight to have smoother, clear skin but I guess that’s
not in the plans for me. I say sometimes, "OK God, you made me have
oily skin so I do the best I can to deal with it." There ARE worst
things in life.

Proactive?

Hi. I had used proativ for four long years..It did worked as fast as
they say although my acne came back (but only a few) so I decided to
stop. It got worse. I went to a dermatologist, took the antibiotics, had
facial done, did not use the dermatologist’s cleansers and toners but i
tried to use proactiv again instead. In just 1 month, my face was
cleared up…

Last year, i don’t know what went wrong. Acne came back again got worse
so i stopped using it. Now i’m using bezoyl peroxide in AM and differin
in PM while taking antibiotics and birth control pills..

My advice is, u may try it. It may work for you. but if u start it,
don’t stop. Everyone’s skin is different. i hope it’ll help you.
