well this is what i have found to miraculously work…

i don’t know how serious your acne is, but mine was moderate (about 10
pimples at a time, and would get cysts) - but I finally threw out
everything and started using St Ives cleanser - it’s the blue one with
tea tree oil. I also use Acne Free - but just the repair lotion, and
just on the places where i get pimples. I was using the whole acne
free system, but just broke me out more. once i switched to the st
ives cleanser, my pimples were gone in less than a week - seriously.
it may dry out your face, but what doesnt? please try this, i know
acne sucks. the st ives is cheap , too bad you have to buy the whole
acne free system (i dont know where you can only buy the repair
lotion), but the lotion lasts awhile, and the astrigent that comes
with it is good too. let me know if you try it, and if it works

Plz help me

Hi Harleen,

I highly recommend Proactive. I ‘ve been using it for a couple months now and
its great. I no longer have acne on my face and it prevent any future breakouts.
I’ve used many products out in the market. However, have not found any success.
I think you should try it for a couple of months and see how you like it.

Why You May want to avoid Acne Medications.

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

It is now being established in the scientific community (but not yet
the dermatologists) that the root cause of acne is diet. A study
published in "The Archives of Dermatology" in 2002 examined the
incidence of acne in non-western populations. When they looked at
islanders living in the remote Trobriand Islands and when they looked
at Ache hunter gatherers in a remove part of Paraguay they found no
acne.

Further research looking at the dietary characteristics of these
groups identified the probable factors that kept these populations
acne-free. They eat a diet that is low in processed carbohydrates,
high in protein and high in essential fatty acids. This affects
hormone production, how skin cells stick together, and the
inflammation involved in acne.

Yes, one may think they have stumbled on that magic cure for
acne and its problems. It may target the external factors

For Effective Acne Treatment, Eat these Fruits

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

Fruits are an "ok" food for those with acne. Most fruits have a
relatively low glycemic index, meaning that they don’t raise your
blood sugar that much, particularly compared to cereal, bread, rice,
and other "white" foods.

The reason you don’t want to raise your glycemic load is because this
results in increased circulating insulin. Increased insulin causes
testosterone surges, which result in greater oil production in your
skin.

You do NOT want to be going on a juice fast, and you want to be
avoiding juice in general. That is because juice is absorbed very
rapidly, causing a rapid increase in blood sugar and thus insulin
concentration.
