Natural & Herbal Health Enhancement

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

Dear Visitor,

the remodelling of our website has entered the final process. Most of
the links are now accessible and updated as per your feed back.

Despite your requests the number of supplements has not been
increased. We have decided not to affiliate with separate and unknown
companies as our supplements have been tested by the audience and we
do not intend to ruin the relationship with our customers by offering
something that does not meet the standard.

Supplements are available the same way as they were before the
remodelling, you can access the shops by clicking the drop down menu
on the top of the homepage.

On the essential oils: almost everyone eating a modern diet gets an
excess of omega-6 oils and not enough omega-3 oils. Omega 6 oils are
found in corn and most vegetable oils. Since all meat in this country
is raised on corn, the meat we eat has high levels of omega 6 and low
levels of omega 3. If you only eat fish and wild game, you get enough
omega 3. Omega 3 oils have an anti-inflammatory effect, and omega-6
oils have a pro-inflammatory effect. So I would NOT supplement with
any omega-6, only omega 3. Also, use olive oil as your main cooking
oil, and avoid corn oil, soybean oil, safflour oil, etc.

There are two other changes that will make a dramatic difference. The
first is to avoid all foods that cause a high insulin response. That
is because high insulin causes an increase in testosterone production,

Hi Cindy,
There is an alternative to harsh chemicals to get rid of acne and it is proven
to be safer than proactiv. E-mail me back and i can tell you what it is and how
to get it. I have been using it for my daughter for about 4 months now and her
acne is g-o-n-e!

Thanks

Hi, I have been giving my daughter a vitamin regimen of a good multi, vit c,
zinc 50 mg, essential 3-6-9, which has400 mg fish oil, 400 mg flax oil and 400
mg borage oil in it she is also on a antibotic her acne is on both her cheeks
and she has red scars that are depressed under the skin that is the most problem
at the moment. It sounds like I should stop with the 369 oils and only use the
fish oil.
I make a blended drink every morning for my daughter and I that has blueberrys,
pineapple juice and peaches, strawberries, grapes and mangos that I add extra
virgin olive to. Do you think this is a good idea what i am doing, dermologist
wants her to use accutane next and I say no way!

Thanks

My Personal Experience with Acne Cures….

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Thanks Mason…
I will look up Cordain…I appreciate your clarification of the
Omegas and the processed food/insulin connection… (I am mildly
hypoglycemic and probably crave sugar more than the average joe)In my
case, and at my age, I think much of what I am experiencing is a
hormonal change(ugh), however I did graduate college with a degree in
nutrition back in the 80’s. But there is so much new info out there
now and I’ve been out of the loop not having pursued a career in the
field. It is always good to keep learning more. I had never
specifically looked into the diet/acne connection until now, simply
because I didn’t need to. Anything else you might suggest? By any
chance are you connected to the nutrition field in any way or do you
just enjoy "researching" as I do. I’m sure all of the readers of
this list would be glad to hear more….

My Personal Experience with Acne Cures….

Hi,

You’ve posted some good advice. Let me put in my 2 cents:

Yes, you should supplement with omega-3 fats - i.e. fish oils.
(Flax oil will not do the trick). These fats reduce inflammation,
which is a major part of the acne process. Omega 6 fats are found
in corn and most other grains and seeds, and thus we already consume
too many of these fats. Omega 6 fats are pro-inflammatory, and you
should not by any means be adding more of them to your diet or
supplementation program. Supplement with fish oil, and try to
reduce all omega-6 fats such as corn oil, soybean oil, safflour oil,
etc. Use olive oil, canola oil, or butter as your main cooking fat.

Your diet advice - very good: the reason you should remove

Green Smoothie for Clear, Beautiful Skin and a Healthy Body!

Monday, March 19th, 2007

Hey!

I have FINALLY found my personal acne cure and would like to share
it with you. I have tried 3 types of antibiotics, countless creams
and lotions and masks, herbal remedies and teas, and diet changes.
But…all of those thing combined are less effective than the green
smoothie I’ve been drinking for 8 months! My skin is now crystal
clear and even! Below, I discuss the benefits of the green
smoothie, and provide a recipe- the ingredients are readily
available, and inexpensive.

1)It cleared up ALL my acne within three weeks in addition to using
Dan’s regimen. It’s my absolute STAPLE for clear skin. If I skip
drinking the smoothie for 1 week, I pay the consequences by breaking
out.
