Hello everyone! I have been subscribed to this group
for a while and decided that I should make a post so
that I can contribute once in a while! I am nearly 26
and have been waging the war against acne since my
teens; not just my face, but my arms, back and chest
as well. I have tried many different products, but
discovered that it takes (at least for me) a
combination of external cleansing products and a close
monitoring of the foods that I ingest!
Please know that what I post is by no means a cure for
everyone, but for some it may give you some new ideas.
You can take or leave anything you wish!

Facial cleansers: St. Ives Cream cleanser/ makeup
remover or Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser

followed by Clinique Acne Solutions Anti- Bacterial
soap. (yes, I wash my face twice each time) Once the
face is dry, I use the clinique Acne Solutions Night
Treatment Gel. Clinique will try to promote a
"cleansing lotion," but I found that it was too harsh
for my skin.

Diet: I have found that many meat products, dairy
products, breads and even some fruits will cause
massive aggravation to my skin. From research I have
discovered that this can be caused by chemicals and
hormones that are used to produce foods. Most of my
dairy now is either organic or soy based, I eat very
little meat products and I always make sure that I am
eating whole wheat bread (100 % stone ground wheat and
watch out for high fructose corn syrup!!) and that
seems to work much better for me.
