I agree with what you wrote & practice avoiding them myself. It’s just
so simple, isn’t it. for those of you who’d still give excuses for not
trying this, the end benefits are only for yourself so if you don’t have
the will power, stop harrassing others with the same problem. Stop
being a whiner do something about it.

Hi Alias,

I had this great skin care specialist when I was 16
that helped me w/my diet. This is what she said:

Dairy, Caffeine, fried foods, and iodine cause acne.


My acne was soooo bad and I would’ve done anything to
combat it. I ended up wiping all of those foods out of
my diet–IT WAS SO DARN HARD!!! I found out that
iodine is in seaweed, shell fish, and all those
vitamin suppliments. I also took lactaid pills if I
ate dairy.

I exersized 3 times a week, drank tons of water, and
ate lots of fruits and veggies. I also supplimented
with vitamin c, a, e, and zinc to boost my immune
system.

my skin cleared up. It was fabulous–i even lost
weight. Everytime I ate any of those above listed
foods, I would get a break out. I knew that those
foods exacerbated my acne.

Do I follow this diet now? NO! I wish I could to clear
up my skin again, but I need a motivator like that
wonderful skin care specialist!
