I just bought md forte for my adult acne. Is there anyone else that has
had any luck with these products? I started using them about a week
ago.I am also using nature’s cure acne tablets- don’t think they have
made my acne worse than it was. Thanks.
There is a place that has essential oils, they are natural plant oils
that can help with lots of diferent things….they also have face
creams that are 80% natural, well all their things are natural…they
have a website with information, their essential oils have scientific
prof backing them up….I’ve been to the shop, its pretty cool…the
website incase any of you are interested in looking at it is
twilighttherapy.com they also host free work shops that teach you about
their products…I’ve been useing their products for a few months, and
i love them…I can even use them on my 3year old son, and its fine
cause they are natural…they can help with skin problems.
is an ingredient used in many over-the-counter acne
medications. It is often found with pads as applicators (such as Stri-dex
pads). It is also used to treat other skin disorders including dandruff,
psoriasis, calluses, corns, warts, and more.
Benefit of Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid helps slow down shedding of the cells inside the follicles,
preventing clogging. Salicylic acid also helps break down blackheads
and whiteheads.
Mild acid solutions, such as salicylic acid and glycolic acid, can be
effective on acne. These encourage the peeling of the top layer of skin
and the opening of plugged follicles, which helps reestablish the normal
skin-cell replacement cycle. For milder acne, salicylic acid helps unclog

My daughter has really bad red spots down both cheeks they are under
the skin I am worried they are permanent she is using Retin A and
antibotics tetrayline. Anyone with same problem. Thanks
From my personal experiences is that salicyclic acid
is better because it seems to go a little deeper into
the pores of the skin. If you notice alot of the
products do in fact have benzoyl peroxide which is
seemily a common ingredient in skin care products
however the percentage of salicyclic acid might infact
be to low for someone and might need a stronger dose.
I have oily and slighyly acne on my face but I believe
salicyclic is better. JON
They both work differently so it depends on your skin type and if you have
sensitive skin. I have very oily skin but it’s also sensitive so Sal. Acid
doesn’t do much for me but make my skin blotchy. Ben. Peroxide if more
drying but if you can find a good formula it may not be as drying.
Personally I don’t use Sal. Acid or anything with any kind of acid (Glycolic
Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, etc…) even though it is the “big thing” right
now. Have you tried Proactive? Some products with Ben. Peroxide have a lower
amount of it than others so always read the ingredients.
I haven’t had any luck with Sal. Acid meds getting rid of my acne in a few
days but it may just be my skin sensitivity that is the problem. Anyway,
Good Luck!!!

Hi All,
I’ve done a lot of testing between salcylic acid and benzoyle peroxide
and Arbonne skin care. Our Clear Advantage System - I couldn’t sell to
myself, but I was told it is 30% better than a leading advertiser…yet
it wouldn’t clear up my face - it would stop clearing at a certain
point and the results didn’t happen right away. This is not a bad
thing…because if someone is selling products, they would have you
sample, but would know what works…and in this case, for blemishes.
