I have tested…and tested…the salicylic acid broke my face out, the
benzoyl peroxide didn’t! I believe products with the salicylic acid
only will work to a certain point and then it will stop.
I have two different "on the spot" creams that you’re supposed to put
right on a pimple when you see it, that are both designed to cure it
within twelve to twenty-four hours.
But, one’s active ingredient is 2% salicylic acid, and the other’s is
benzoyl peroxide. (Also, my face wash (and every OTC acne facewash
I’ve seen)’s active ingredient is 2% salicylic acid, which seems
significant… somehow… lol.)
But, my question is, which one will be more effective?

The effect of oral spironolactone (200 mg daily) on acne vulgaris
has been studied in 21 women in a randomized, placebo-controlled,
double-blind crossover study using 3 month treatment periods.
Compared with placebo, spironolactone produced significant
improvement as assessed by subjective benefit (P less than 0. 001),
number of inflamed lesions (P less than 0 . 001) and by an
independently evaluated photographic method (P less than 0 .02).
There was a fall in sex hormone binding globulin but no significant
changes in plasma testosterone and derived free testosterone.
Initial plasma androgen levels were no higher in responders than in
non-responders, nor did oral contraceptive use appear to affect

Hi, I have these natural pills that are suppose to help control acne.
The list of ingredients are, marigold, goldenseal, walnut, silica,
antimonious sulfide, cone flower, wild rosemary, glandular, wild
licorice, calcium sulfide, vegetable carbon, black cohosh and
graphite. Does any one know if any of these ingredients actually can
help control acne?
My sister worked in the medical field and she had one spot of ringworm and got
told by the DR. she worked for to use Lotrimin. It got rid of it, and it never
came back. It depends on how deep the ringworm is and how bad it is for
treament. Go to the DR. or try OTC and if it isn’t better in a week or two go to
the DR.

ointments and creams will not get rid of it. it will go away but
come right back after you have stopped applying them. you need
prescription oral antifungals to really get rid of it. where is the
ring worm on your body? you might have to cut your hair if you have

clothing and beddings in hot water too. it is contagious so if its

Here are some different recipes of home-made mask to choose. Most

Egg White Mask
This is simple and quite frugal. There have been many instances of
people reporting excellent results from trying it.
All you need to do is separate the yolk from the egg whites. Then whip
